Remove a side panel near the gas pedal, disconnect coolant lines, slide out old core, slide in new core, connect lines, close panel. I got an adapter to screw the sensor from the heater lines directly into the intake manifold and plugged off the outlet from the water pump where the line would normally attach.

If you will be installing the engine with intake manifold then install the heater hoses just as about as the engine goes in cut the hose and clamp it, if you install the engine fully you won't be able to get to the hoses.
