WebDosage/Direction for Use. Adult & childn >12 yr Traveler's diarrhea 600 mg/day (1 tab every 8 hr) to 800 mg/day (2 tab every 12 hr) for 3 days. Hepatic encephalopathy 1,200 mg/day (2 tab every 8 hr) for 7-10 days. Diverticular disease of the colon 800 mg/day (2 tab every 12 hr) for 7-10 days.
