Web27 aug. 2024 · Cleaned the carb and reset the static governor control. It cranks and starts but goes full throttle as soon as it starts like it's about to self destruct. Tried adjusting the governor shaft both ways but no change. Pulled the bottom cover and everything looks brand new BUT... the governor just slides right off. Web27 dec. 2024 · If it doesn't. open it back up and figure out why. Usually it's one of the bronze bushings on one of the shafts, or a thrust washer over too far and in the way.
